Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

$25-$38/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility and equipment operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting equipment installations and process improvements. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and building systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues involving:
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulics & pneumatics
- HVAC & plumbing
- Vacuum systems
- Carpentry, welding, and painting
- Install and modify new equipment as needed
- Support process improvement and engineering projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal
- Follow all safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Specialized training, certification, or 2-year technical degree
- 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation
