Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the ongoing functionality, appearance, and safety of the commercial properties we manage. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded professional with general knowledge of building systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.

Repair faulty equipment and damaged structural components across various facilities.

Replace and repair plumbing fixtures and water heaters.

Update and complete work orders through the company’s maintenance system.

Replace ceiling tiles, repair door hardware, and perform minor painting and finishing work.

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively for building repairs and upkeep.

Respond promptly to emergency situations and service requests.

Travel throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas to service multiple properties.

Maintain company-provided tools, vehicle, and cell phone in good condition.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a commercial setting.

Broad knowledge of general maintenance procedures and tools.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Must be physically capable of performing job duties.

Valid driver's license and insurable by company standards.
