Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Inspect and monitor building systems for proper function, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for all work performed.
• Collaborate with property management and vendors to coordinate repairs and projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in emergency response procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and organized manner.
• Support capital improvement projects and evaluate feasibility of repairs and upgrades.
• Interpret technical manuals and apply facility management techniques.
• Attend staff and safety meetings and support emergency procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Boiler licensure required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience in commercial building maintenance or related field .
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across different sites.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic math skills and working knowledge of English.
