Maintenance Technician - Engineered Systems
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Clayton, NC. As a Maintenance Technician at Engineered Systems, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various crane and hoist systems, ensuring their smooth operation and minimizing downtime. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our systems, contributing to our culture of excellence, customer satisfaction and product safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on crane and hoist systems to ensure their optimal functionality.
- Diagnose systems issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct inspections, identify potential problems, and provide solutions to prevent system failures.
- Assist in the overall maintenance of systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Create and maintain maintenance and inspection logs and documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in training programs as required.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar industrial role.
- Strong understanding of various electrical and mechanical systems including single and 3-phase motors, low and high voltage, a.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines, procedures, and practices related to maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push/pull 50lbs when required and work in hot environments.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Relevant certifications or licenses may be required.
