\nWe're looking for a Maintenance Mechanic - 1st shift who takes pride in quality work and problem-solving. This role is essential in keeping our campus running efficiently and safely through skilled maintenance and repair work across a wide variety of systems and equipment.\n
\n
\nHourly Rate: $38.20\n
\n
What You'll Do\n
\n
\nYou'll use your hands-on skills to plan, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems across our Carlisle Campus. Tasks include:\n
\n

\n
• Performing work in machining, welding, carpentry, electrical, pipefitting, and plumbing

\n

• Installing and aligning machinery and equipment

\n

• Operating shop tools and heavy equipment such as lathes, mills, forklifts, and tractors

\n

• Maintaining boilers, HVAC systems, and other essential infrastructure

\n

• Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems

\n

• Completing preventative maintenance and repair tasks in a safe and timely manner

\n

• Collaborating with a diverse team across departments

\n

Knowledge & Skills:\n
\n
\n

\n
• Basic understanding of industrial maintenance practices

\n

• Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

\n

• Skilled in operating a variety of hand and power tools

\n

• Knowledge of shop equipment like mills, lathes, and grinders

\n

• Basic math and measurement skills

\n

• Clear communication skills - written and verbal

\n

• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

\n

• Experience with machine troubleshooting and working in high or confined spaces

\n

Education & Experience:\n
\n
\n

\n
• High school diploma or GED

\n

• Completed apprenticeship, technical program, or equivalent mechanical experience

\n

• 0-4 years of experience for entry-level roles | 4+ years for senior roles

\n

• Industrial/manufacturing experience is a plus

\n
