Maintenance Technician at Bear Creek Lodge

Bear Creek Lodge is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support property operations by addressing routine repair needs and assisting with general upkeep as directed by the Maintenance Manager and ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt and courteous service.
Interviews are scheduled to begin in mid-October, with a potential start date in mid-November.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Address work orders related to indoor and outdoor maintenance, including basic IT, internet, and technology-related issues, as reported by Guest Services, Managers, and Housekeeping.
- Purchase and deliver supplies from hardware stores to Bear Creek Lodge and owner units. Transport packages and materials from office locations to Bear Creek Lodge and owner units.
- Support seasonal deep cleaning efforts, assist with furniture relocation, and perform routine preventative maintenance such as battery replacement in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Maintain daily and weekly task lists. Provide timely updates on progress and completion using designated tracking software.
- Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner, always ensuring a polished appearance and respectful conduct.
- Identify and report safety hazards, security concerns, and property damage to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with external vendors for repairs or services beyond the scope of internal capabilities.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the overall maintenance and guest experience at Bear Creek Lodge.
Essential Job Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of one year in maintenance, preferably in property management and building maintenance. Moderate level of maintenance skillset, basic plumbing and electric skills, and general skilled labor experience.
- Required Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Professional demeanor, appearance, and conduct.
- Capability to work cohesively with co-workers in a team environment.
- Skills:
- Previous experience in property maintenance
- Proficiency in the safe operation of power tools
- Certified pool operator
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
