We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity in Austin, TX. This is a great opportunity to work with a locally owned and operated company that strives to provide quality service. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects independently.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - After hours emergency call as needed.

Type: Fulltime

Location: travel will be required to visit properties across the greater Austin area.

Key Responsibilities:

• ·You'll oversee scheduling your own service calls, visiting properties across Austin.
• ·Responsible for basic appliance repair, basic plumbing repair, basic electrical (no license required work), sheetrock repair, paint, lock rekey, general basic carpentry, etc.
• ·Customer service-oriented attitude.
• ·Must provide own tools/equipment - Ladders are provided
• ·You must be a self-starter, with the ability to troubleshoot requests independently as you'll be handling service calls in the field.
• ·Time management skills, ability to coordinate, schedule and complete jobs.
• ·Tech skills must be sufficient to operate (iPad/iPhone) and/or company devices to process paperwork/notes.

Qualifications:

• ·5-8 years of related maintenance experience, or training (preferrable residential maintenance).
• ·Valid Driver's License and ability to drive.
• ·Ability to complete commonly accepted maintenance and handyman tasks.
• ·Must provide own tools/equipment - Ladders are provided.
• ·Ability to pass a drug test and criminal check.
• ·Verifiable proficiency in industry-related technology and software.
• ·Ability to lift heavy items (50 lbs or more).
• ·Ability to climb ladders of sizes up to two stories.
• ·Ability to access attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
