Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on, skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing operation running at its best. If you’re experienced with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and facility maintenance, and you enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on daily operations.
You’ll handle everything from equipment repairs to facility upkeep and preventative maintenance, ensuring production never skips a beat.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair diesel-powered manufacturing equipment, hydraulic systems, and facility infrastructure
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to avoid downtime
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel-related issues
- Replace, repair, or calibrate components to keep equipment at peak performance
- Conduct general facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC support, minor plumbing, painting, and basic building repairs
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work and repairs
- Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
- Interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and layouts to guide maintenance tasks
- Support continuous improvement by identifying potential equipment or facility upgrades
- Follow all safety protocols and assist in training junior maintenance team members
- Be available for Saturday work as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification
- 3+ years of experience in diesel engines, hydraulics, and facility maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and facility systems
- Ability to read technical documents, diagrams, and schematics
- Familiar with safety practices in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces
- Must complete and pass all ATMI Safety Training Programs (Lock-Out Tag-Out, Working from Heights, Confined Space, Forklift Operation, Manlift Operation)
- Ability to complete crane inspections
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Skills
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Basic electrical or PLC troubleshooting knowledge
- Certifications in diesel, hydraulic, HVAC, or facility maintenance
