Our client, an industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Appleton, WI
Pay Range: $20
Shift: Monday – Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
What's the Job?
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure smooth production operations
- Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on production machinery and plant facilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills for repairs and maintenance
- Maintain detailed logs of work performed and report any unusual or faulty operations
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in industrial maintenance or production environment
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems is essential
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds on rare occasions
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
