Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technician in Newport Beach, CA.
As a Maintenance Technician you will:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Complete maintenance orders in accordance with production schedule.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, motor controls, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and pumps.
- Inspect and listen to machines to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate repairs.
- Disassemble machinery to access and repair problem areas.
- Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine and equipment repair.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate forklift and other mobile equipment as required for maintenance tasks and material handling.
- Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery and systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure optimal functionality of equipment and prevent breakdowns.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols, equipment usage, and workplace conduct.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a full time opportunity. Monday thru Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
- Work with and support the maintenance manager.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and pumps.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and problem-solving.
- Ability to operate forklift and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
Pay Rate: $30 - $37 per hour DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
