AppleTree Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Indianapolis! This role is responsible for performing basic to intermediate maintenance, construction, and repair work on production and facility equipment, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Install, inspect, and maintain production and facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and forklift maintenance when needed.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures to maintain compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and requisition necessary supplies for each job.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to complete assigned projects.
• Flexibility to work any assigned shift as business needs require.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2–3 years of experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair skills.
• Machine maintenance experience or relevant technical certifications.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Associate degree in a technical field or relevant maintenance certifications.
