We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturer in the Fort Wayne, IN area. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment used in rubber mixing and molding. You’ll help ensure equipment reliability, production efficiency, and workplace safety.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed
Shifts Available:

• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Industrial Maintenance Certification ()
• 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience ()
• Experience with rubber or plastic molding machines
• Electrical troubleshooting skills (120/208VAC, 277/480VAC, low voltage controls)
• Familiarity with PID temperature controllers, solid state relays, and heaters
• Knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, soft starts, and PLCs (Ladder Logic)
• Experience with Fanuc Robotics program troubleshooting
• Must supply and maintain personal tools and toolbox

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on mixers, extruders, molding presses, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Install conduit, SCH80 PVC, and perform welding as needed.
• Recommend and implement equipment improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
• Maintain hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Document maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
