Position Summary: Maintenance Technician

Looking for an Industrial maintenance technician to help grow our company. This position will be focused on downtime reduction and overall increase in machine liability. The Technician will be responsible for general maintenance and building repairs on several types of converting equipment. The individual will work closely with machine crew’s operators, supervisors, management, and other plant personnel.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize both mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, power transmission, lubrication, welding)

· Must have basic knowledge of PLC’s, A/C, motors and drives, schematics in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve maximum machine up-time

· Work professionally with maintenance supervisor and machine crews to troubleshoot and solve problems

· Engage in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas

· On-the-job success in safety, attendance, and quality of work

· Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills

· Willing to work flexible shifts and weekends when necessary

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED

· 5 years maintenance experience

· Effective written and verbal skills

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to work well with co-workers

· Ability to solve problems and prioritize work

· Ability to work with minimal supervision
