We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis for the 2nd/3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and general facility maintenance. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment, machinery, and systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
  • Repair and maintain HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and air handling units
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and infrastructure
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and resolve issues efficiently
  • Install, modify, and upgrade equipment and systems as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as required

QualificationsRequired:

  • 5-15 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their maintenance
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and procedures
  • Experience with industrial equipment such as pumps, motors, and conveyor systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficient in using various hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification
  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays as needed

:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
  • Certifications in specific areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, or industrial maintenance
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of energy management and conservation practices
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
