Located in Mansura, LA, Kerotest Manufacturing Corp., a world class supplier of products for the energy markets, is looking for a Maintenance Technician. For over 100 years, Kerotest has been a leading supplier of valves, systems, fittings, and accessories for the energy sector, with a particularly strong history in the natural gas distribution and transmission areas.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Maintenance Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated and other production equipment to ensure safety, functionality, efficiency, and optimum performance.

Qualifications and Skills

Required: Technical training and 5 or more years of related experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex industrial electrical control systems as well as hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Industrial electrical knowledge (480v and 3 phase) needed.

: PLC experience and/or HVAC experience

Work Environment: Jobs in production areas, including lifting (frequently 25 lbs., average up to 55 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs), pushing, pulling, stooping, twisting, bending, crawling, kneeling, carrying, reaching, turning, sitting, standing and walking required. Injury exposure could be cuts, bruises, sprains or strains. This position works around, on and beneath machinery. Majority of work is during days with occasional weekends and holidays when emergency situations arise.
