Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both facility and production equipment. This role covers a wide range of electrical and mechanical work, supporting the company’s operational goals through safe, preventive, and predictive maintenance practices.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
- Install, service, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns during production and carry out scheduled maintenance during planned service times.
- Take ownership of designated machine components and collaborate with the maintenance team on plant-wide repairs and preventive tasks.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, plumbing, and control systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders to complete service tasks.
- Diagnose equipment issues, repair or replace defective parts, and verify proper operation through testing and adjustments.
- Work with PLCs and VFDs (Siemens S7/TIA Portal ; Allen Bradley VFD experience is also valued).
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
- Associate degree or technical training .
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent background.
- Commercial electrical experience strongly .
- Solid hands-on experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical/electronic circuits.
1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $35.00 - $40.00 an hour, based on experience
