As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of apartment communities. ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

To thrive in this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience in property maintenance and preservation or similar experience which has equipped you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing:

• Interior finish carpentry (interior doors, trim, baseboards)

• Finish plumbing (drains, toilets, faucets, sinks)

• Appliances (water heaters, dishwashers, disposals, stoves)

• Finish electrical (light fixtures, receptacles, switches)

• Finish cabinetry (doors, toe kicks, hardware)

• Finish hardware (doorknobs, door stoppers, shelving, locks, blinds)

• Painting and caulking (general make ready)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks and general repairs inside and outside of apartment units and common areas.

• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are functioning properly, addressing any potential issues proactively.

• Ready vacant units for new tenants (Unit Turns)

• Respond to maintenance requests from in a timely and professional manner, delivering high-quality service.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.

• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and property management to ensure efficient property operation and upkeep.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance duties.

• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and advance your career.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of previous verifiable experience in apartment or residential maintenance is required.

• Strong technical skills and knowledge in the repair and installation of appliances and finish electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and drywall work are essential.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to maintenance.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to .

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
