Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility with multiple production processes, including molding, assembly, finishing, and automation. This role ensures equipment reliability, product quality, and minimal downtime through both preventive and corrective maintenance across a variety of machinery and systems.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting, preferably with plastic processing equipment.

  • Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative and decision-making skills.

  • Skilled in interpreting technical diagrams, including electrical schematics, hydraulic circuits, and PLC ladder logic.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a solutions-focused mindset.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Comfortable using computer systems and maintenance software.

  • Familiarity with Lean practices such as 5S, Standard Work, and problem-solving tools.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus.

  • Forklift certification .

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on molding equipment, automated systems, and finishing machinery.

  • Collaborate with production supervisors to coordinate repair schedules and minimize downtime.

  • Diagnose issues, identify replacement parts, and coordinate with purchasing for orders.

  • Maintain and repair facility systems including safety and environmental controls.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.

  • Document all maintenance activities and work orders accurately.

  • Support installation, testing, and start-up of new machinery and systems.

  • Operate forklifts or other equipment when required.

  • Participate in quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide updates on equipment status, schedule changes, and production impact to leadership and peers.

  • Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including molding machines, conveyors, robotics, grinders, and vacuum systems.

  • Uphold compliance with all applicable quality and environmental standards.

  • Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
