Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Property Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to handle final punch-out work and ensure that residential and commercial units are move-in ready. This role is responsible for completing minor repairs and finishing work to maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in general maintenance, light carpentry, painting, and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform taping and spackling to repair walls and ceilings.
• Paint interiors, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, to achieve a professional finish.
• Hang and adjust interior doors to ensure proper fit and function.
• Replace locks and install new hardware as needed.
• Install kitchen cabinets and ensure proper alignment.
• Install and replace faucets in kitchens and bathrooms.
• Repair and replace flooring, including vinyl and carpet.
• Unclog toilets and address minor plumbing issues.
• Replace light bulbs and install light fixtures as needed.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure all units meet quality standards before turnover.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in general maintenance, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• HVAC Certified. 
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
