What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to keep production on track.
- Keep detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and work orders.
- Follow and execute the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule and escalate concerns.
- Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
- Communicate effectively with production teams, management, and vendors.
- Keep work areas and the maintenance shop clean, safe, and organized.
- Actively participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or degree a plus.Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or facility setting.Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot across multiple systems.
- Certifications: Journeyman card, forklift license, CDL, or electrical certifications .
- Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Bonus Points For: Forklift, pallet jack, or reach truck experience.
