Maintenance Technician

We are looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician for a Telford based client working across a rotational double day shift pattern. You’ll be joining a leading UK manufacturing business that have been supplying into the building industry for 50+ years.



Role responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:



* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the factory instructed by the Engineering Manager



* Respond to machinery breakdowns as and when required, prioritising production equipment and allotted working schedule



* Make sure all allotted tasks are completed in a timely manner and safe to maximise factory outputs and minimise downtime



* Create and update the standard operating procedures and risk assessments



* Attend and complete any training requirements set by the business to upskill yourself within the industry



Within your role it will be mandatory to adhere to all organisational polices, management systems and standard operational procedures inline with legal responsibilities in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality. We promote working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and other departments to ensure everyone is working collaboratively.



In return we offer a start salary of Circa £39,000 working across Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotational shifts. Overtime is ready and available at a inflated hourly rate.
