Maintenance Technician

We need two experienced maintenance technicians with a minimum of 3 – 5 years in both electrical and mechanical industrial experience as it applies to the Packaging warehouse industry.

 

  • Perform maintenance, repair, installation, disassembly, and/or removal of machinery
  • Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of packaging equipment during production
  • Perform breakdown maintenance utilizing an extreme sense of urgency
  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by CMMS
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting of production machinery
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs to motors, transformers, sensors, relays, solenoids, drives, transistors, thyristors, etc.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance
  • Investigate OEM and Non-OEM parts to assist department’s buyer in ordering repair parts
  • Charge labor and spare parts consumption to work orders in CMMS.
  • Act as safety champion with the empowerment to stop unsafe acts observed.
