Maintenance Tech-Night Shift
Position Type: Temporary, Possibly T/P

Salary Range: $27.02 per hour  $.75 Shift differential ($27.02 while training on days)

Shift: 11 pm – 7:30 am *Sunday Night Start up @ 7:30 pm

(Weekends/OT Required)

Position Summary:

LEAD Technical (www.lead-technical.com) has partnered with a well-established manufacturer and seeks a Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

·       This position is 50% mechanical work and 50% electrical work.

·       Repairs machines or equipment, dismantling as necessary to gain access to defective parts. making the necessary adjustments to ensure efficient or proper operation.

·       Operate and repair plant support machinery, boilers, softener, compressors etc.

·       Handle major repairs and liaison with contractors as required.

·       Develop and implement preventative/ predictive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.

·       General industrial maintenance duties.

·       All other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

·       Electrical Experience (should be listed on work history) including wiring, panels, circuits, breakers, fixtures, outlets, terminals, conduits,  transformers, cables, switches, fuses, routers.

·       Will consider candidates with 1 – 2 years of experience if they’ve recently graduated from Chattanooga State with Industrial Maintenance, or similar programs from another school.

·       Required Experience: basic mechanical knowledge and application of compressed air, hydraulics, and pneumatics, basic electrical, welding, pumps, and preventative maintenance.

·       Able to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively

·       Able to read and interpret technical drawings

·       Must be Team Player and able to work with minimal supervision

·       Must have own tools (as defined by the Company)

·       Must meet the physical requirements of the job.
