Maintenance Technician
2nd or 3rd shift

$29-34 an hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment and facility. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous and safe operation of machinery through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and prompt repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems and thrive in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Support and participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues involving electrical, mechanical, PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding systems.
• Accurately document work performed and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical proficiency in electrical, mechanical, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of food manufacturing safety and hygiene standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields is a plus.
