MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN


The Maintenance Technician will be accountable for performing all daily tasks associated with the facilities and residential equipment across the property. Duties include, but are not limited to, general repairs and services in all maintenance-related disciplines, e.g., carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, and minor electrical.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Maintain club facilities, including carpentry, renovation, mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, and minor electrical. 
  • Diagnose malfunctions and defects in mechanical and similar equipment and determine appropriate corrective measures.
  • Maintain the pools and spas, balancing chemicals, adjusting temperatures, covering and uncovering, cleaning, and general repairs. 
  • Complete assigned tasks, work orders, and maintenance procedures in a timely, safe, and correct manner. 
  • Document all maintenance and services in accordance with company guidelines.  
  • Maintain accurate records of all work activities, support materials including parts used, and supplies needed for projects. 
  • Maintain positive interactions with all club members and guests, providing a high level of customer service.

KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a construction or maintenance field preferably in a hotel or resort environment. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. 
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record. 
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. 
  • HVAC knowledge and experience but not required.
  • CPO certification .  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This job requires daily work in the field. You will be required to work and travel in inclement weather conditions.
  • You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to traverse property and facilities.
  • Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
  • Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information
