Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNebraska Lifestyles Property Management is a fast-growing property management company specializing in single-family homes and small multi-family properties throughout Omaha and the surrounding area. We’re currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same. You’ll handle service requests, make-readies, and preventative maintenance to ensure our homes meet quality standards while utilizing business-based decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete tenant and owner-requested work orders efficiently and professionally
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair issues ranging from appliances, to plumbing, to electrical and more
- Perform make-ready service for vacant homes, including basic repairs and cosmetic touch-ups
- Maintain landscaping and exterior upkeep as needed
- Inspect and maintain HVAC systems
- Ensure all work meets safety standards
- Communicate effectively with , coworkers, and contractors in a professional manner
- Accurately document work completed and materials used
- Must be willing to obtain Lead-Based Paint Certification (company-paid)
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ years of experience in property maintenance, construction, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of residential systems and general repairs
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow directions independently
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday
- On call 1-2 weeks a month
- Some overtime is available
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour (DOE + certifications)
