THIS IS FOR 2ND SHIFT
JOB FUNCTION:
This position will be responsible for preserving the good condition and functionality of the work site. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks as directed by management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and
safety standards.
2. Perform maintenance of electrical systems.
3. Perform manual repairs when necessary.
4. Perform PM inspections.
5. General repair of equipment.
6. May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment.
7. Conduct general upkeep procedures.
8. Perform other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of High School Diploma with specialization in industrial or vocational trades
.
2. 1-2 years of technical school, or on the job experience .
3. Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.
4. Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair.
5. Equipment systems experience a plus.
6. Experience working in a manufacturing environment .
7. Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.
2. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
3. Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
4. Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
5. Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
6. Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks,
and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
