DEPARTMENT: Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: 7900 North Radcliffe St. Bristol Pa. 19007
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
PAY RANGE: BOE
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position will play a key role in managing the maintenance department to achieve maximum equipment uptime and effect repairs in a timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Identify critical preventive maintenance steps and schedule on all equipment in cooperation with shift supervisors and operators.
- Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance and quality of product and suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiencies.
- Assist directly in repairs.
- Keep management and departments updated on status of repairs.
- Upkeep of the plant to include roof, AC units, plumbing, electrical and grounds.
- Identify best practices for equipment upgrades and replacement and work with upper management and vendors to identify and quote solutions.
- Participate as a key player in return-on-investment scenarios.
- Communicate with vendors and purchasing on needed parts and supplies.
- Ensure all job functions are performed in a safe manner according to the "Company Procedures" manual.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Operations Manager on matters relating to production, quality, safety, costs and employee needs.
- Adhere to all quality control standards and procedures.
- Increase uptime on all plant equipment and machine work centers.
- Keep maintenance areas clean and always organized.
- Review schedules and estimate requirements for completion of job assignments.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules using knowledge of machines, methods, material and skill levels.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist others in solving problems.
- Ensure proper inventory levels of spare parts are maintained.
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate overall manufacturing needs and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of industrial controls.
- Capable of reading electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proficient reading and writing skills.
- Troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to objectively review information pertinent to position.
- Effective in time management.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to apply strong attention to detail and produce work with accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and self‐direct work, and in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize workflow, maintain schedules and follow up to meet deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a diverse environment.

WORK SCHEDULE
Irregular hours and extra hours are regularly required based on the demands of the job. Position is overtime eligible.
