JOB DESCRIPTION

NRG Realty Group is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Midland, TX office. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our Client’s Properties. The ideal candidate will have experience across a wide range of maintenance tasks, both interior and exterior, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail. This role will report to our Project Coordinator and Director of Asset Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Painting (Interior & Exterior): Prepare surfaces and apply paint, stain, or coatings to walls, ceilings, and exterior building surfaces.
• Electrical (Lighting): Replace and install lighting fixtures, ballasts, and bulbs; perform basic troubleshooting of lighting issues.
• Landscaping: Maintain property grounds including mowing, trimming, weeding, and seasonal clean-up.
• Flooring: Perform repairs and installations of various flooring types (tile, vinyl, carpet, etc.).
• Plumbing (Minor): Address leaks, clogs, and replace basic plumbing fixtures such as faucets and toilets.
• Overhead Door Work: Inspect, repair, and maintain overhead and roll-up doors to ensure proper operation.
• General Handyman Duties: Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including drywall repair, door hardware replacement, carpentry, and other facility-related tasks as needed.
• Brokerage Signage: Assist with the delivery, pick up, and inventory management of Brokerage signs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of experience in general building maintenance or a similar role
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications a plus)
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures
