Master Roll Manufacturing is seeking Manufacturing Maintenance Technician.

JOB SUMMARY: This role is responsible for the upkeep and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities, including buildings, grounds, and various systems like HVAC and electrical. They perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot/repair issues to ensure everything operates smoothly and safely. In this role, supervision will be minimal. Communicating projects that require additional help, training and/or scheduled equipment downtime is imperative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspections and Maintenance:

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential problems and ensure they are functioning correctly.

• Preventative Maintenance:

Perform tasks like lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.

• Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and repair or replace faulty components.

• Facility Upkeep:

Maintain the building's interior and exterior, including minor repairs to walls, doors, and other fixtures.

• Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

• Emergency Response:

Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide on-call support if needed.

Common Tasks:

• HVAC Maintenance:

Inspecting and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

• Electrical Maintenance:

Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, replacing light bulbs, and addressing minor electrical issues.

• Plumbing Maintenance:

Repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, including sinks, toilets, and drains.

• Equipment Repair:

Fixing and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment.

• Painting and Carpentry:

Performing minor repairs and maintenance to walls, doors, and other structures.

• Groundskeeping:

Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, including landscaping.

• Purchasing requisitions

Make timely written requests for parts, service and materials necessary to complete tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all work is completed accurately and thoroughly.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with supervisors, schedulers, operators and other personnel.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations as well as contributing to the overall improvement of safety throughout the shop.

Other:Must have toolbox and tools required for a variety of general equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance. EOE
7 am- 3 pm- Flexible depending on projects
40 hours per week. Overtime as needed.
