A well-established specialty pharmaceutical company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team. This organization is engaged in the development and commercialization of both generic and branded pharmaceutical products. With a strong presence across the U.S. and ongoing international research partnerships, the company employs over 150 professionals in all phases of pharmaceutical operations.
Essential Functions:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of facility services and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical repairs, emergency lighting, and HVAC systems.

Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), maintaining detailed records of all work performed.

Coordinate the calibration of production equipment with external service providers as needed.

Maintain and organize spare parts inventory for production equipment and general facility maintenance.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
-
: 5 years of plant maintenance experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or related regulated industry

Minimum of 2 years demonstrated electrical maintenance experience

Working knowledge of cGMP guidelines

Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn

Familiarity with general facility maintenance, HVAC systems, and/or packaging lines
Physical Requirements:

Activities may include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements

Ability to lift/move:

Up to 100 lbs occasionally

Up to 50 lbs frequently

Up to 20 lbs constantly

Must have visual acuity to operate machinery and perform mechanical tasks

Exposure to moderate to high noise levels requiring raised voice to communicate

Work conditions may include proximity to moving parts, electrical currents, high places, heat, and chemicals

Possible exposure to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, dust, gases, or poor ventilation

Ability to work in confined or narrow spaces
