A well-established specialty pharmaceutical company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team. This organization is engaged in the development and commercialization of both generic and branded pharmaceutical products. With a strong presence across the U.S. and ongoing international research partnerships, the company employs over 150 professionals in all phases of pharmaceutical operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of facility services and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical repairs, emergency lighting, and HVAC systems.

  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), maintaining detailed records of all work performed.

  • Coordinate the calibration of production equipment with external service providers as needed.

  • Maintain and organize spare parts inventory for production equipment and general facility maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • : 5 years of plant maintenance experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or related regulated industry

  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated electrical maintenance experience

  • Working knowledge of cGMP guidelines

  • Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn

  • Familiarity with general facility maintenance, HVAC systems, and/or packaging lines

Physical Requirements:

  • Activities may include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements

  • Ability to lift/move:

    • Up to 100 lbs occasionally

    • Up to 50 lbs frequently

    • Up to 20 lbs constantly

  • Must have visual acuity to operate machinery and perform mechanical tasks

  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels requiring raised voice to communicate

  • Work conditions may include proximity to moving parts, electrical currents, high places, heat, and chemicals

  • Possible exposure to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, dust, gases, or poor ventilation

  • Ability to work in confined or narrow spaces
