Manufacturing Electrical Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform repair/preventative maintenance of equipment in a manufacturing environment and troubleshoot and repair electric, air systems, and hydraulic mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanic drives and power transmission equipment and perform pump repair and pipe fitting as required.
- Help set up new machines implement upgrades to support the manufacturing process and maintain all plant electrical systems.
- Perform maintenance on forklifts, manlifts and various other gas and electrical motorized equipment and maintain all maintenance related records.
Electrical Maintenance Technician Summary:
Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment and provide a variety of plant maintenance support for ongoing manufacturing operations by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and physical.
- Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
- Training in a Technical discipline, trade school or electrical theory education .
- Military experience a plus.
- 3 years’ experience in repairing and maintaining electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems and performing preventive maintenance programs; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
