Maintenance Technician

Hariley Solutions are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Telford. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:



* To be involved in the configuration, installation and commissioning of any equipment deemed necessary.



* To contribute to maximising the efficiency of the site by minimising equipment downtime.



* To undertake maintenance work associated with the building services on site as and when required.



* To log and report work on the maintenance CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)



* To operate safe working practices and encourage this in others, reporting any unsafe practices.



* To comply with Company Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental and other policies, procedures and standards.



* To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be requested by a manager/supervisor.



* Ensure and promote the personal health, safety, and wellbeing of staff.



* Carry out duties in a way which promotes fairness in all matters, and which engenders trust.



* Promote equality of opportunity and support and as well as working to support the Lyreco sustainability agenda and practices.



Role specific:



* City and Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineering.



* 3 years’ multi-skilled industrial experience of electro/mechanical equipment. (Experience ratio: 70% Electrical, 30% Mechanical + others)



* Strong Fault findings experience over electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automated equipment (Hydraulic and software systems being a bonus)



* Working knowledge / experience of Logistics equipment (I.e.: Automated conveyor systems and packaging equipment including AC motors, and inverters)



* Working knowledge / experience of Automated and PLC equipment (SIEMENS S7 knowledge / experience being bonus).



* Qualification / Working experience on Electrical installations (Distribution Boards, 3 Phases and single-phase power supplies)



* Working at height using MEWP (Mobile Elevating Working Platform). IPAF 3A & 3B a bonus or willing to be trained to operate this type of equipment.



* Machining knowledge / experience (Use of pillar drill, bandsaw, Lathe or milling machine, etc..)



* Welding knowledge / experience (TIG, MIG or Arc Welding, etc..)



* Working experience of portable power tools



* Innovative approach to problem solving
