Position Title: Maintenance Technician

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: General Manager/Asst. General Manager/Maintenance Manager
Shift and days off may vary
Schedule: Must be able to work Evenings, Weekends, On call and Holidays.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Technician position is primarily responsible for supporting the physical needs of the property. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing and addressing the physical needs in each of the units (repairs and replacements).
Core responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Specific Responsibilities:
- Replace lights inside guest rooms, riser and trash rooms, stairwells, and corridors.
- Replace fixtures, ballasts, and outlets as needed.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs to faucet and shower cartridges, toilets, caulking and snake drains.
- Replace sofa bed inserts, repair, and replace broken tables, lamps, appliances.
- Repair doors, change doorknobs, lockets, and other door repairs.
- Replace AC filters in rooms, and vacuum AC panels.
- Repair pool gates, replace Jacuzzi parts in units.
- Respond to emergencies and other needs as required.
- Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always.
- Always Ensures Outstanding customer care.
- Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities):
Experience:
Minimum of one year of multi-unit (hotel/apartment/condo) maintenance experience . Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. OSHA 10 Certified .
Education: High School diploma or GED desired.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes, and weights. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
