JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.
You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal
performance and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic
systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the plant, as noted in the
equipment manufacturer’s guidelines.
Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunction. Communicate equipment problems to
operations staff as needed. Ensure safety procedures are constantly in use.
Diagnose problems, dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts
following blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
Repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment as needed.
Manage work orders in the fixit program and conduct necessary maintenance or repairs as needed.
Always Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Inspect, operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Dismantle machines, equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes,
hand tools or power tools.
Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels,
replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair
manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
Repair machines, equipment or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches
or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
Maintain constant communication with Maintenance Supervisor regarding any maintenance issues
that may arise so that Plant Management can adjust their production schedule accordingly.
Complete daily reports outlining maintenance or repairs conducted that day.
Assist in the setup and teardown of machines and equipment at beginning and end of shifts.
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
Support all safety, quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.
Follow Seal-Tite safety rules and procedures.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
Works well independently and with others.
Good communication skills.
Organized with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders or crawl into awkward spaces.
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
