Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Location: Monroe, WI

Sign-On Bonus: $6,000

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• 3rd Shift | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
• One weekend shift per month required
• Shift Differentials: 10% (2nd Shift), 15% (3rd Shift)

Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift. This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support production operations, including preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and facility upkeep. The role is ideal for someone who works well independently, demonstrates strong technical aptitude, and is committed to safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain systems such as HVAC, boilers, and refrigeration
• Respond promptly to equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Communicate with production and management teams to coordinate work
• Assist with sanitation tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a maintenance or technician role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Familiarity with tools and systems, including VFDs, basic PLCs, plumbing, and carpentry
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow written procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Consistent and reliable attendance record
• Safety-conscious mindset

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a refrigerated, wet, and moderately noisy environment
• Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) required
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and wearing appropriate PPE

Compensation & Benefits:

• $6,000 sign-on bonus, paid in three installments during the first year
• Shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shift schedules
