Maintenance Technician

  • Apply expertise in electrical systems, industrial controls, mechanical, hydraulic, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration, boiler systems, and waste treatment in a high-speed CPG environment.
  • Utilize and implement continuous improvement practices, including 5S, Lean, and TPM methodologies.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to maximize equipment performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production interruptions.
  • Install, modify, and maintain production equipment and systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including LO/TO, OSHA standards, and GMP requirements, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues, driving operational efficiency.
  • Utilize CMMS systems (e.g., EMaint) for managing work orders, scheduling maintenance, and tracking inventory.
  • Operate and maintain knowledge of hazardous materials, including toxic and corrosive chemicals.
  • Possess and apply strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Maintain acute visual and auditory awareness to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts, as required.

  • Project management: Capable of managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
  • Quality control: Attention to detail for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Safety compliance: Adherence to LO/TO, OSHA standards, and forklift safety.
  • Physical abilities: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing 60 lbs., and performing other physical demands, including mounting/dismounting forklifts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in basic computer skills, welding (stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals is a plus), and using production-related software.

Experience and Education

  • College degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields .
  • Journeyman certificate a plus
  • Experience conducting PMs on Industrial Equipment
  • Experience in the maintenance of converting and web-fed coating equipment a plus
  • Forklift experience
