About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in the overall maintenance of the physical property and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance of the community. As a member of the maintenance team, all work is to be performed in a timely, professional, and quality workmanship manner.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance to maintain curb appeal and property value. This role requires effective communication with and the property management team; and contributes to creating a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for all and co-workers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance in areas of plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct repairs on drywall, carpentry, and other structural components as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards of the Company.
- Assist office team with regular inspection of patio violations and vehicle/parking lot violations.
- Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
- Assist in groundwork, when necessary, i.e., pick up trash, pull weeds when walking through community.
Skills:
- Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, refurbishing, and mechanical knowledge.
- Problem-solving, communication, attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and residential property management.
Qualifications:
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
