Responsible for maintaining the proper, good condition and functionality of GPC buildings, common areas and grounds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, grounds and equipment
  • Ensures all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner and according to all specifications.
  • Maintains organization’s physical operations including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systems.
  • Maintains grounds as needed by mowing, trimming and manicuring lawns, flower beds and other landscaping.
  • Interacts with appropriate staff/managers to receive information regarding maintenance needs; ensures timely response to requests.
  • May assist in securing outside contractors if needed
  • Assists Compliance Coordinator to ensure property is in compliance with all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws; implements OSHA and ADA guidelines and programs.
  • Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
  • Manages expenses within approved budget constraints and seeks required approval as necessary.
  • Prepares accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Provide courier services to and from clinics as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three to five years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
  • Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
  • Current non-restricted Driver’s License and proof of Liability Car Insurance

  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
