As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal has experience in maintenance for residential luxury properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as painting, caulking, light carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, minor landscaping, and minor roof repairs
- Repairs: Making repairs to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, (MEP) such as HVAC systems, boilers, and chillers
- Preventive maintenance: Performing preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all MEP systems.
- Attention to details: Identify all potential hazards in regard to life safety, functionality of equipment and cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the facility.
- Janitorial duties as needed throughout building and grounds
- Safety checks: Performing routine inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, fire and life safety installations, and the entire premises to avoid all injuries and potential property damage.
- Exterior grounds: Supporting exterior grounds activities, such as snow removal, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance
- Pest control: Handling pest control initiatives
- Personal skills: Must be able to interact and communicate both verbally and written with the facility personnel and tenants.
- Additional duties as assigned by property management
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
- Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
