Maintenance Technician - 12 month contract\n\nSalary: £25.52 (inside)\n\nLocation: Derby\n\nMy client is a global defence and aerospace leader, and due to new business contacts they seek a Mainteance Technician to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.\n\nAs a Maintenance Technician you will be doing:\n\nPerform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks\nInstallations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanically bias machines\nAbility to perform alignment and geometry checks\nUtilise hand tools and test equipment to deliver customer requirements.\nCoordinate workload and mechanical activities with customers\nWork with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipment\nWork to control standards and procedures \n\nExperience and skillset - Maintenance Technician\n\nMUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.\nGood understanding of Maintenance operations and fault finding\nBasic IT literacy and ability to work to engineering drawings. \n\nAll successful Maintenance Technicians will be contacted with 2 working days of application
