Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician to support our portfolio of residential properties in the Worcester area. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:

• Performing in-unit repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Completing work orders, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, groundskeeping, and general building maintenance.
• Communicating with the Superintendent and Director on completed and on-going work assignments.
• Assisting with on-going capital projects and providing access to contractors.

The work hours are Monday-Friday 7:00-3:00 with on-call duties shared on rotation.

Your Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

• Some experience in residential property maintenance and skills in areas like plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC are required.
• The ability to work as part of a supportive and cohesive team, as well independently, is required.
• The ability to communicate professionally by phone and email while using a smartphone app is required.
• Previous experience with Yardi or other management software .
• This position includes participation in the emergency on-call rotation and snow removal.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
