Position Statement

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the successful operation and administration of the Engineering department. The Maintenance Engineer must ensure that they are focusing on providing exceptional customer satisfaction by continually training on the touch points of the hotel at all times. The Engineering department must be executed at the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. The Maintenance Engineer must drive results through properly maintaining all building related systems and the building. The Maintenance Engineer must ensure that our associates and customers are treated with the utmost respect at all times since they are the key to our success.

Responsibilities - (not limited to)

• Ensure resort maintenance and cleanliness is maintained to the highest level with attention to detail
• Maintain property in accordance with fire, building and health codes
• Operation of heavy equipment
• Exposure to extreme temperatures
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal, snow removal, lawn care, gardening care
• Daily and ongoing preventative maintenance program execution
• Execute all work orders in a timely manner with follow-up when needed
• Provide a well-maintained and comfortable room for each guest every day
• Perform other tasks that are deemed necessary to the success of the hotel and the associates

Requirements:

Physical Requirements - (not limited to)

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to repetitively stand, stoop, bend, crawl, reach above and below shoulders, repetitive arm and wrist use, climb ladders and stairs, and walk on uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to recognize, register, and respond visually to and depth perception.
• Must be able to see and hear.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work around moderate noise level.
