Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and customer service. This role involves ensuring that all building systems are functioning properly and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for and staff.

The Maintenance Technician must provide their own basic tools for the position and will be expected to work flexible hours, including on-call evening rotation, weekend & holiday work and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs
• Execute general facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with and staff
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems
• Proficiency in residential painting techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with electrical systems and repair practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of heating & air conditioning unit repair and maintenance, .
• Knowledge of pool maintenance, .
• Basic understanding of repair & maintenance of appliances, plumbing and electrical.
