Position Overview:
As a Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued operation and maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. From troubleshooting mechanical issues to performing routine maintenance tasks, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues using your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Perform carpentry, painting, and other building maintenance tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and functional work environment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, work orders, and emergency situations to address issues in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and external contractors to coordinate maintenance projects and achieve departmental goals.
- Uphold safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to promote a culture of workplace safety and prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance-related trades .
- Proven experience as a skilled maintenance worker or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in various maintenance disciplines.
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexible schedule and availability to respond to after-hours emergencies or weekend maintenance tasks as needed.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between work sites as required.
