Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge in plumbing, electrical systems, handyman skills, and general maintenance, with a strong emphasis on commercial work experience. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety in a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plumbing:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems in commercial settings.

- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and water pressure problems.

- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.

2. Electrical:

- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers in commercial properties.

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure safety protocols are followed.

- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards.

3. Handyman Skills:

- Carry out a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and flooring in commercial spaces.

- Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.

- Respond to general maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs promptly.

4. General Maintenance:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.

- Maintain an inventory of tools and materials needed for maintenance tasks.

- Ensure that maintenance work complies with safety standards and company policies.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

- Report any major issues or required repairs to management promptly.

- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a strong emphasis on plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance in a commercial environment.

- Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical codes, and safety regulations.

- Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

- Valid driver’s license

- ⁠Reliable transportation required for first few months and then company work truck will be provided

- ⁠Must be willing to travel locally but no overnight stays will be required

- Proficient in English

- Trade Licenses a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
