Pay: $75K – $85K Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our operations team. This role is essential to keeping our production equipment running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hasen, Matrix, and Bartelt packaging lines and a strong understanding of food industry compliance standards, including HACCP, SQF, and GMPs.

• Experience with the vertical and horizontal form fill seal equipment ( Hasen, Matrix and Bartelt Machines)
• Strong mechanical skills with a good blend of electrical
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics exp

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal packaging equipment, including Hasen, Matrix, and Bartelt lines
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment failures to reduce downtime
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Conduct equipment inspections to verify compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Follow and enforce maintenance procedures in line with HACCP, SQF, and GMP requirements
• Support plant-wide safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in on-call rotations as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with Hasen, Matrix, and Bartelt machines is required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• HACCP training and a solid understanding of food safety programs
• Familiarity with GMPs and sanitation standards
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Bilingual skills are a plus
