Title: Maintenance Tech
Status: Part Time
Reports to: Building Services Supervisor

Purpose:
As a part of the Building Services team, the Janitor cleans and maintains physical upkeep of multiple facilities and assists the supervisor in completing special projects. In a culturally competent and responsive manner, responds to staff requests and external parties as required. Articulates C4’s mission and vision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience in facility maintenance
- English fluency
Competencies (Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Experience):
- Knowledge of general facility maintenance, repairs, and procedures
- Skilled in the operation of a variety of hand tools and equipment commonly used in a healthcare facility
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, in pursuit of organizational goals and objectives
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleans assigned sites including washroom(s), offices, meeting rooms, and lobbies following established procedures. Utilizes knowledge of institutional housekeeping methods to complete cleaning tasks.
- Interacts with clients, staff, and visitors respectfully, tactfully, and professionally.
- Responds to and completes on-line maintenance requisitions as may be applicable and as directed by supervisor on a daily basis.
- Ensures that all supplies and equipment purchased are accounted for and that documentation is forwarded to the Business Office in a timely fashion.
- Completes special projects including painting as assigned.
- Provides cleaning and floor care throughout the agency facilities.
- Performs all other assignments and responsibilities as directed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
