Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role supports production by performing mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance activities while working closely with maintenance and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, drives, motors, and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  • Repair or replace faulty components (motors, relays, switches, circuit boards, mechanical parts)
  • Perform equipment adjustments, alignment, calibration, and preventive maintenance
  • Conduct basic diagnostic testing to verify equipment performance
  • Document repairs, PMs, and equipment performance in the work order system
  • Maintain a clean work area and follow housekeeping and 5S standards
  • Communicate issues and updates with maintenance, production, and leadership teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Industrial maintenance experience required (manufacturing, skilled trades, military, or technical programs acceptable)
  • Mechanical maintenance experience required; industrial electrical experience
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Automation or maintenance-related certifications are a plus
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, meters, and maintenance equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree or technical school training (or equivalent experience)
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, email, databases)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment (frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, regular lifting up to 75 lbs, occasional lifting over 75 lbs)
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb, and work with hands throughout the shift

Schedule & Pay

  • Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Sunday–Thursday
  • Pay: $25–$29/hour based on experience
  • Shift Differential: $1.50/hour (after transition to nights)
  • Training: Conducted on 1st shift (Monday–Friday); duration based on experience
