Were looking for a motivated individual eager to learn the technical skills required to excel in commercial building maintenance.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician Apprentice will work under the supervision of a Building Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor to assist with day-to-day maintenance operations. This position is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on training and career growth in the property management and building maintenance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in performing preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
Support building engineers with equipment inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Learn and apply safety standards and company procedures for maintenance operations.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms and work areas.
Respond to tenant service requests under supervision.
Track and document maintenance activities through work order systems.
Participate in on-the-job training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic mechanical, electrical, or plumbing knowledge .
Willingness to learn building systems, tools, and maintenance best practices.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and tenants.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in mechanical environments.
